The Effects of Gas

Once upon a time, puppy and kitty rolled and frolicked and played in the green grass of their human's yard. But one day....while kitty was trailing along behind her best friend...one HECK of an odor came out of the backside of puppy when he raised his tail. Now we have a freakin' cat to chase down before the effects of the gas overcome her. She is so disoriented. Poor kitty. She was so happy scampering along with her life-long pal just a few short minutes ago. Will she ever be able to trust that beast again? Men! Pffffffftttttt.

2009年大晦日♪

大晦日あぎん♪

2009年も今日が最後ですね。大晦日だというのに相変わらず騒がしいmike-neko家です。あぎんと小梅が楽しそうに追いかけっこに励んでいる横で、子供たちが紅白見ながら熱唱してます（笑）みかんは、そんな騒ぎのなか一人でまったり・・　いつもの風景です。ダンナは明日の【もちつき】用のもち米を水に浸さなきゃといいながら台所で食洗器を回しているところです。

今年は、私にとってホント幸せで良い一年でした。こんなに心から仕事を楽しんだことがいままであったかなぁ？！仕事や犬の保護活動を通じて多くの出会いもありました。去年おととしの引きこもりどん底生活+体重増加（笑）とホント悲惨な日々からやっと抜け出し、自分に自信を持って生きることができました。だから、息子の反抗期もなんとか一緒に乗り越えられたんだと思います。

大晦日小梅

そして、今年のNew顔の小梅ちゃん。我が家では【悪いネコたん】と呼ばれてますが・・・　家族みんなのアイドルです。そういえば先日の出来事！あぎんのバリの中に知らぬ間に小梅ちゃんが入り込んでたんですね。が・・　知らなかったので、あぎんをバリに入れ、戸を閉めちゃったんです。で・・数時間経過。テレビを見ていたダンナがあぎんのバリの穴から小梅の手が【ひょい】【ひょい】と出たり入ったりしてるのを発見！どうやらバリの中で一緒にすごしていたらしいです。しかも気づかないくらいに静かに・・・　大笑いしました。犬とネコって仲良しなんですね。

大晦日みかん

そして我が家の癒し犬みかんです。あぎんに舐められようと、小梅にかじられようとマイペースです。なのに我が家の動物たちのボスです。やはり女は強いってことでしょうかねっ（笑）おせちも作り終わり、後はのんびりお風呂にでもつかって疲れを取り、4人と3匹で年越しです。

仕事で知り合った皆さん、犬の保護活動を通じてしりあった皆さん、ブログを通じて知り合った皆さん、ずっと昔から私のブログを眺めに来てくれていた大切な友達の皆さん、おかげさまですっかり元気になりました。今年一年間ありがとうございました。ぜひ、来年も遊びに来てくださいね。皆様にとって2010年が素敵な一年になりますように♪

Happy New Year!

年女

　明けましておめでとうございます。
　年明け早々、大晦日に買った猫じゃらしの首がもげました。とても不吉な感じです。
　猫さんはもげた頭と本体を並べて、「これ引っ付けろ」と言いたげに鳴いております。ゴメンよ、それは不可能だ。

　年が明けて、我が家の犬さんが12歳になりました。年女です。人間の年齢に換算すると60歳越えだそうな。
　犬さんが我が家にやって来た時に「何か色が変！　ポメラニアンだって言ってたのに、金色じゃない」とか失礼なことを思った日はまだ記憶に新しいのに、すっかり歳をとってもうおばあさんの領域なんですねー。生きるスパンが違うとは言え、ちょっと切ないですなぁ。
　いつまでも子猫気分が抜けない猫さんだってもう3歳越えてるんだから、こっちだって既に30歳前くらいだもんな。
　どちらも健康に長生きしてくれれば良いけれど。

Older Woman Smiling (New Group Info)

I come across so many photos of people dealing with their daily lives, and I love the authentic image you achieve when the person is not "posing". I don't know if I should waste them in just my Blog, or if I should start a new Photography Group that deals with the expressions conveyed through the human condition. What do you think? You can have taken the photos yourself, or just found some touching ones on the internet. It would almost be like "Street Photography", where the person doesn't know they are being shot. I LOVE the expressiveness of the human face. Just for example, when Swissair Flight 111 crashed here in 1998 and the loved ones began to arrive, I couldn't believe the multitude of expressions. Some I didn't even know the face could make. An honor to have worked on that disaster for 4 months in the morgue, and I am humbled and not the same person I was before those 229 people "evaporated". Expressions are very important to me, and that's why I wanted a good digital camera with a zoom that would stay steady. You only have a fleeting moment to catch an expression....rather like chasing after butterflies...and I think it would make for a very interesting new photography Group. What do you all think? Would you take part in it?

Dog's Best Friend

All you can say is, "Awwwwww....how cute!" I want them both. *smile*

Man's Best Friend

Street people have a special relationship with their dogs, if they happen to have one. They are treated very well, as you can see by how this gentleman bundled his dog up. The dog provides warmth, companionship, and safety. I remember a young man who would walk up and down the medium of a street, holding a sign out for any loose change you might have. I always spoke with him when I was walking, and he made sure that he had cardboard on the ground to help keep his dog warm while sitting. There was a Subway shop at the corner, and the employees would sometimes allow the cardboard and dog to settle by their doors (because you had to go down a few steps to get to the door, thus giving the dog some shelter). They would even feed the dog from time to time.
